Privacy policy

When you book, or create an account, we collect the data you type in: first name, last name, phone number and email address. If you create an account we also store a password, which is kept encrypted and is never visible to us.

For each appointment we store the treatment, the operator, the date and time, and the price at the moment you booked.

We do not collect payment data: you pay at the salon. We do not use profiling or automated decision-making.

We use your data to manage your bookings and to send you the confirmation and the reminders (by email and, where available, by SMS). The legal basis is the performance of the service you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

The phone number is required so the salon can recognise you and reach you about your appointment; the email is required to send the confirmation and to recover your account.

We do not send marketing. You can turn reminders off at any time from your profile.

We rely on a few providers, acting as data processors, to run the service. Each one only receives the data it needs:

• Supabase — database and accounts (project hosted in Frankfurt, EU).

• Resend — sending transactional emails (EU region, Ireland).

• Openapi — sending SMS reminders (Italy).

• Vercel — hosting of the website.

• Google Maps — the map on the home page is an embed served by Google.

Some of these providers are companies based outside the EU: any transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

We keep your account and your appointments for as long as your account is active, so you can find your bookings again. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal data; we may keep the minimum required by law (e.g. tax records tied to a service).

You can ask us, at any time, to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or receive it in a portable format. Write to info@jslashandbrow.com.

If you believe we are handling your data incorrectly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it).
