Professional lashmaker
Born in Ukraine in 1989. Before beauty there was a degree in computer science and mathematics, and for a while she actually worked in that field. Then she followed what had fascinated her since childhood.
She trained between Russia and Ukraine, at the best academies, qualifying as a nail technician, lashmaker and make-up artist.
She came to Italy for the Sorrento Coast, and started working here as a lashmaker and nail technician. She speaks Italian, Russian and English: that is how she entered an international market.
Teaching grew out of the work. She built a method of her own, with a focused path, to pass on experience to her students and not just technique.
Today she continues to study permanent make-up, and in Italy she has earned the regional qualification as a tattoo artist.
She speaks three languages
Italian, Russian and English.
What a lashmaker does
Lashmakers call themselves designers of the gaze: their craft is giving the eyes the look the client is after.
It is not just applying lashes. It takes knowing every feature of the face, because the skill lies in reading the shape of the face and of the eyes, and choosing the right effects for that person.
And it takes knowing the anatomy of the lash and brow line, so the base of the eye is never overloaded.
How the school began
From the wish to pass on, through professional paths, not only the knowledge built over years of training, but above all the experience of years of work. Courses take a limited number of students, so they learn better; on request they become one-to-one and tailored.
